CMB Regional Centers will be participating the in the Invest in the USA (IIUSA) 2020 Virtual EB-5 Industry Forum, which is scheduled on November 10-12. IIUSA is a trade association for the EB-5 program. CMB’s CEO and Founder, Pat Hogan, is the longest serving member on the IIUSA Board of Directors.
On November 12th, CMB’s President, Noreen Hogan, will provide her expertise and insight on the effects of the recent changes by the USCIS to its policy on redeployment.
The keynote speakers for the event will be Ms. Sarah Kendall, Chief of the Immigrant Investor Program Office (IPO) at the USCIS and Mr. Charlie Oppenheim, Chief of the Visa Control and Reporting Division at U.S. Department of State. They will offer their insights to stakeholders on a wide-range of topics regarding the EB-5 program.
EB-5 issues that are likely to be important discussion themes:
- Changes within the IPO (investor program office)
- Extended adjudication times
- Redeployment policy
- Retrogression
- Issuance of visas at consular posts
- The impact of COVID-19
