Is the EB-5 "Purchasing" a Visa? June 28, 2018

Claim:

The EB-5 Program is a way for people to pay the government in exchange for a Visa

Fact:

The EB-5 program is an investment into a private company in America which
creates jobs for Americans in exchange for a Visa. If the investor fails to demonstrate
creating at least 10 American Jobs with their investment, they are disqualified from
acquiring permanent residency and may have to leave the United States.

This means that in order to immigrate, the investor must significantly benefit America
to justify their visa.
