Great Wolf Lodge Arizona is planned to have approximately 392,885 square feet (36,500 square meters) gross building area, a 350-suite hotel, approximately 85,000 square feet (7,897 square meters) dedicated to an indoor water park, 15,000 square feet (1,394 square meters) of dynamic meeting space, and 80,327 square feet (7,463 square meters) of space for the lobby, meeting space, family entertainment center, and back of house space. The Project will also feature an arcade, spa, fitness center, climbing rock wall, ropes course, kids bowling, a mini golf course, retail gift shops and food & beverage outlets.
In addition to its award-winning indoor waterpark attractions, the Great Wolf Arizona will also feature an outdoor pool that will be located adjacent to the Family Entertainment center.
The Project is located immediately adjacent to the City of Scottsdale in the Greater Phoenix Arizona metropolitan area.
The 19-acre (7.7 hectares) site is located on land owned by the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (“SRPMIC”) at the northeast intersection of N. Pima Road and Hummingbird Lane. The proposed Great Wolf Lodge Arizona is approximately 20 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The Project location is positioned at the center of the Phoenix metro area which carries a population of over 4.6 million people. 24.4 million people are within a six hour drive from the Project site. The Project will be developed in a cooperative partnership with the SRPMIC, who will provide significant upfront equity contribution support for the Project.
