The Project
CMB Group 101 Hillwood Venture Build-to-Suit (BTS) will involve the development and construction of a modern Class-A, 2,111,200 square foot (196,137 square meter) build-to-suit regional distribution facility designed to meet the needs of a major automotive parts manufacturer.
The project will be located on a 318-acre (129 hectare) land site owned by Wayne Country Airport Authority (“WCAA”).
Hillwood Venture Build-to-Suit (BTS)
The project site is located southwest of Detroit in Van Buren Township, Michigan (Wayne County), which boasts convenient access to multiple transportation hubs along the I-94 and I-275 corridors.
In addition to the facility, the project will include the construction of a guard house, an outdoor water tank to service the facility, 552 parking spaces / 980 trailer spaces, 43 loading docs, and approximately 423,000 square feet (39,298 square meters) of outdoor storage space. Upon completion, the facility will serve to consolidate multiple facilities and will serve as a key parts storage and distribution facility serving the North American market.
