Kyler James

Mr. Kyler R. James serves both as the Vice President of Government Affairs and Chief Economist for CMB Regional Centers. In his governmental affairs role, Mr. James is involved in the legislative, regulatory and policy environment of EB-5 to ensure integrity and long-term continuity of the program. Mr. James educates congressional offices, industry associations and lobbyists to better understand the need of a quality EB-5 program. As Chief Economist, Mr. James oversees a team of economists in analyzing and monitoring each of the projects receiving EB-5 investment funds through CMB. Mr. James has authored economic impact studies supporting all but the very earliest of CMB EB-5 limited partnerships. Prior to joining CMB Mr. James spent two years in Russia as a religious missionary and has obtained a Master’s degree in Russian studies from the University of Oregon. Mr. James’ educational background also includes degrees in economics from Boise State University (Bachelor’s) and University of South Florida (Master’s). Mr. James enjoys free time spent with his wife and four children and volunteering with his local church and the Boy Scouts of America.


Roshan Verma

Mr. Roshan Verma is CMB’s Hindi analyst/advisor in finance, EB-5 financial/immigration structures and international investment, he assists CMB’s project team in formulating complex financial documents such as loan agreements, intercreditor agreements, promissory notes, collateral obligations, market analysis, feasibility studies, title searches, historical tax credits, build America bonds, and other documents as needed to enter into agreements between borrower and lender that can exceed $1 billion. He conducts analysis of sophisticated financial data and investment information. Mr. Verma works with CMB staff attorneys in developing complex business documents such as a subscription agreement, and escrow agreement, a comprehensive business plan and a private placement memo. Mr. Verma communicates with investors and explains all facets of the complex structures of the investment project and explains the requirements of the EB-5 immigrant investor visa. Mr. Verma received a BS in Finance from Iowa State University, where he graduated cum laude, and  MBA from The University of Northern Iowa.


Doojin Lee

Mr. Doojin Lee is CMB’s Korean analyst/advisor in finance, EB-5 financial/immigration structures and international investment, he assists CMB’s project team in formulating complex financial documents such as loan agreements, intercreditor agreements, promissory notes, collateral obligations, market analysis, feasibility studies, title searches, historical tax credits, build America bonds, and other documents as needed to enter into agreements between borrower and lender that can exceed $1 billion. He conducts analysis of sophisticated financial data and investment information. Mr. Lee works with CMB staff attorneys in developing complex business documents such as a subscription agreement, and escrow agreement, a comprehensive business plan and a private placement memo. Huyen Ngo

Ms. Huyen Ngo is CMB’s Vietnamese analyst/advisor in finance, EB-5 financial/immigration structures and international investment, she assists CMB’s project team in formulating complex financial documents such as loan agreements, intercreditor agreements, promissory notes, collateral obligations, market analysis, feasibility studies, title searches, historical tax credits, build America bonds, and other documents as needed to enter into agreements between borrower and lender that can exceed $1 billion. She conducts analysis of sophisticated financial data and investment information. Ms. Ngo works with CMB staff attorneys in developing complex business documents such as a subscription agreement, and escrow agreement, a comprehensive business plan and a private placement memo. Huyen communicates with investors and explains all facets of the complex structures of the investment project and explains the requirements of the EB-5 immigrant investor visa.


Youn Woong (Jake) Park

Youn Woong (Jake) Park is a member of CMB’s Project Team in his role as its Loan Compliance Associate. As part of CMB’s loan compliance effort, Mr. Park is responsible for tracking the status of CMB’s loan portfolio, including reviews and analyses of quarterly and year-end borrower-submitted financial reports.  His responsibility also extends to assisting CMB’s borrowers to meet various benchmarks ensuring project schedules are in compliance and in accordance to the legal documents.  Mr. Park earned his M.S. in Taxation and B.S. in Accounting from State University of New York (SUNY) at Albany.  Originally from Korea, Mr. Park spent around 11 years in Indonesia before coming to the US. His experience in Indonesia allows him to speak Indonesian in full professional proficiency in addition to Korean and English.


Jae Jeong

Mr. Jaehack Jeong is an Economic Research Analyst with CMB Regional Centers. Mr. Jeong’s responsibilities include compiling, analyzing and verifying economic data to perform due diligence on prospective development projects and investment offerings. He prepares technical reports, using statistical modeling, on market feasibility, regional unemployment statistics, and the projected econometric impacts associated with investments and business activities in a wide range of industries. In addition, he develops data through research and modeling to assist in the creation of investment project business plans, economic impact studies, TEA designation, and operational business plans. Mr. Jeong also communicates with investors regarding all facets of the complex structures of the investment project and the requirements of the EB-5 immigrant investor visa.


Matthew Temple

Mr. Matthew Temple is CMB’s Project Compliance Analyst. In his role at CMB Mr. Temple is responsible for the review of each loan to confirm and ensure that each borrower has maintained their respective obligations under the terms of their loan agreement. Mr. Temple is instrumental in conducting monthly and quarterly construction progress review, construction draw review and project site visits. Mr. Temple previously served in CMB’s accounting department. Additionally, Mr. Temple served as Financial Analyst/Production Manager with agriculture equipment/feed manufacturer, Welbourne Innovations Inc.  In his role he was responsible for payroll, receivables/payables, QTR tax filing, final Q&C for all products released, assisted in the negotiation and completion of agreements with major partners, and he represented the company at both domestic and international expositions. Mr. Temple received a Bachelor’s of Business in Accounting from Western Illinois University.
